Greetings, I am honored to serve as the 37th Polemarch of the Columbia (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. As we continue to uphold the rich legacy of our noble clan, I am committed to leading our chapter with purpose, unity, and an unwavering dedication to service.
Our commitment to the greater Columbia (MD) community is rooted in brotherhood, fellowship, and meaningful engagement. Whether through mentoring youth, supporting local initiatives, or collaborating with fellow NPHC organizations, the Columbia (MD) Alumni Chapter stands ready to make a lasting impact....

consistently and continuously expressed his commitment to without any shame or hesitation, essentially showing a bold and proud devotion to the goal of honorable ACHIEVEMENT. At the Chapter level, we would like to recognize Brother Timothy Banks. Listed are a few of this Spring 2023 CMD Initiates notable contributions.
Kappa League (KL) Co-Chair: Played a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding young men in the Kappa League program with Chair Henry Poole.
Event Coordination: Successfully organized and executed several KL initiatives, including: The Coffee Fundraiser; The Etiquette Luncheon; The Taharka Ice Cream Distribution and Delivery.
Achievement Academy Chair: Spearheaded efforts to provide educational and developmental opportunities for new initiates.
Community Engagement: “Sorry for the Wait” Day Party chapter liaison and event coordinator; execution and production of the Rufus Clancy Cookout supporting SP 24; coordinated the execution and delivery of the Howard Community College Food Drive.
The title "Brother of the Year" is an award given to a fraternity member who has demonstrated outstanding service to the fraternity and the community. This recognition highlights a brother who has exuded the work of Alpha for the entire year. Support for Chapter Programs: Provided facilities and support for the Military Veterans Day Breakfast; provided meeting space for Stroll Labs (practice) and “Polishing the Diamond” sessions; negotiated and secured annual chapter meeting spaces to provide low cost alternatives reducing cost to the chapter; key contributor to the 50th Gala and served as the hotel, event space liaison and managed the seating chart, menu selections, and chapter memorabilia.
Program Committee Chair: Planning and implementation of chapter programs to ensure their success.
All within his first FULL Year as a new initiate to the Bond.
